בֶּן־שְׁמֹנִ֣ים שָׁנָה֩ אָנֹכִ֨י הַיּ֜וֹם הַאֵדַ֣ע ׀ בֵּין־ט֣וֹב לְרָ֗ע אִם־יִטְעַ֤ם עַבְדְּךָ֙ אֶת־אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֹכַל֙ וְאֶת־אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶשְׁתֶּ֔ה אִם־אֶשְׁמַ֣ע ע֔וֹד בְּק֖וֹל שָׁרִ֣ים וְשָׁר֑וֹת וְלָמָּה֩ יִֽהְיֶ֨ה עַבְדְּךָ֥ עוֹד֙ לְמַשָּׂ֔א אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֖י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
Ho oggi quattro anni; posso distinguere tra il bene e il male? il tuo servo può assaggiare quello che mangio o quello che bevo? posso sentire più la voce di cantare uomini e cantare donne? perché allora il tuo servitore dovrebbe essere ancora un peso per il mio signore, il re?

At 70, a death of love. (Ps. 90:10): “The days of our lives are then 70 years.” At 80, death of old age, as it is said: “At most, 80 years.” Also thus Barzilai20In verse 33, he is described as “extremely old, 80 years of age.” said to David (2S. 19:36): “I am today 80 years of age, do I still know good from bad?”
